About Us

Rooted in community,
committed to safety

The Yampa Fire Protection District has been safeguarding our community since 1978. What started as a small volunteer group has grown into a professional, well-equipped department — but our values haven't changed.

Every one of our firefighters lives and works right here in Yampa. We respond to your calls, we know your streets, and we care deeply about keeping your families safe. That personal connection is what sets us apart.
